J. Everman started out in 1996, repairing and studying vintage gear.
The best way to learn about quality parts and craftsmanship is to see what stands
the test of time. Working on vintage effects allowed them that opportunity. They then transitioned from the repair stage to an R&D stage in 1999. There were a few pedals build in this time frame, most were prototype units of the current production models they offer today. In 2000 they established J.Everman Custom Analog Effects and began to market their Fuzz Drive Pedal as a standard product. Since then they have added several iterations of the Fuzz Drive along with an array of different effects as well as doing some custom work on the side. Their goal as a company is to build high quality effects using only the best components and craftsmanship for a difference you can hear.
